About the Role We're looking for a talented professional to excel in our multi-channel contact center operations, providing top-tier customer service and support to our clients. As an Investor Services Representative I, you'll be the face of our organization, working closely with clients to resolve complex and non-complex issues, processing correspondence, and delivering exceptional service across various channels. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly review incoming requests from diverse sources, such as email, facsimile, chat, and mail, to discern the writer's intent for processing. Proficiently process a wide range of routine and complex customer responses through letters and emails, while consistently meeting or exceeding departmental standards for productivity and quality. Meticulously review transactions for precision and accuracy, recognizing the paramount importance of accuracy in this role. Collaborate with clients over chat/inbound/outbound calls to resolve complex and non-complex issues promptly and effectively. Engage in chat, fax, and email correspondence with clients, providing timely and effective solutions. Actively liaise with other departments to resolve issues and address inquiries, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Participate in cross-training initiatives across various departments to broaden your knowledge and skill set, driving personal and professional growth. Essential Qualifications & Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and competencies: Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written communication. Proficiency in computer navigation and typing, with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute and a high degree of accuracy. Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans and account details, or the ability to quickly acquire it. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet established deadlines. Proficiency in research, analytical thinking, and problem resolution, with a keen eye for detail. An unwavering commitment to precision and attention to detail, driving accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a financial services or customer-facing role. Familiarity with contact center operations and technology. Knowledge of SS&C's products and services, or a willingness to learn.
