Key Responsibilities As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, providing top-notch support to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Bringing your passion and product knowledge to recommend upgrades to customers' health plans, ensuring they receive the best possible coverage. Conducting research and making outbound calls to provide answers to customers' general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, as well as enrollment status requests. Assisting members with navigating their online health accounts, locating doctor and facility information, and resolving any issues they may encounter. Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or related industry. A high school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple software applications. High-speed internet (> 15 mbps) and a reliable computer setup. A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative) and a smartphone or device that runs IOS or Android. Integrity and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a healthcare customer service role. Knowledge of healthcare benefits, eligibility, and enrollment processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
