Freelance Software Tester; Functional Testing
Position: Freelance Software Tester (Functional Testing ) Hi there! We are Testlio, a software testing company with its own freelance network. Our freelancers test apps from worldwide companies. Testlio is a great place for people who value the freedom and flexibility of remote work. At the moment, we are looking for software testers based in Kuwait to participate in testing a Telecom app for one of our clients. The ask is to have testers go through a variety of test cases by impersonating different buyer personas. As a small example of a test case: test as a dissatisfied user (from a competing mobile phone service) and want to move to our client’s service but keeping their phone number intact. For this purpose, we’re only looking for applicants who are living in Kwait and have a Kwait , which will be used securely for testing. To participate in this project, you will need to create an account on our platform. Through this account, we can assign you testing tasks. You will be asked to use our website for defect tracking. You will be provided with materials on our website that will help you understand the principles of software testing and how we operate, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the tasks ahead. Requirements • You have to be at least18 years old. • Availability: You will be asked to be available on a freelance basis. Ahead of each test run, we will send you an email with the date and time for the test, and you will be asked to let us know whether or not you are available to participate. • Language:English (intermediate or higher) for reading the testing instructions and collaborating with the testing team. • Experience: While software testing experience is not required, it is a plus. You must be at least willing to go through reading materials that will prepare you for testing on our platform. What does testing look like? • Type of testing: Functional Testing. • Type of work:short-term,freelance. • Workload: We will be testing on a weekly and sometimes bi-weekly cadence. The tasks themselves will only last around 1h each. • The pay rate for this is $18 USD/hr. • Payments are made weekly viaPay PalorPayoneer.
