Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Staff Data Scientist to join our team, responsible for developing and improving our display advertising measurement techniques, defining vision and strategies for display advertising methodologies, and building collaborative relationships with key partners. As a Staff Data Scientist, you will lead the adoption of our marketing products across customer segments, working closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve display advertising measurement techniques, including sales lift, artificial control group, ghost ads, MMM, MTA, A/B testing, and other methodologies Define vision and strategies for display advertising methodologies, using area expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives Build collaborative relationships with key partners, prioritizing aligned business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive management Manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, determine rollout methods, and manage risks Continuously engage with senior management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage interdependencies Explain complex modeling methods in simple terms and develop compelling narratives that connect modeling results with business problems Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data generation answers and integrate disparate data sources, leveraging modern analytics best practices to deliver actionable insights to partners and senior management Present media insights and recommendations to various levels of senior clients Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The following qualifications are essential: Essential Qualifications Master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, operations research, engineering, or a related field 6+ years of industry experience in data science, measurement, marketing strategy & analytics, Ad-Tech, Mar-Tech, or related fields Proficient coding skills (SQL/Python/R) and database knowledge Experienced in building measurement solutions, including sales lift, ghost ads, market mix, and multi-touch attribution models; extensive experience with predictive modeling algorithms Experience in product management or a related field Strong project management skills, including managing technical resources and multiple priorities & milestones A collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity Sound business judgment, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, with proven ability to persuade others internally and externally Preferred Qualifications Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field Experience in end-to-end product delivery, self-serve platforms, design, user experiences, automation, optimizations, and data analytics Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
