Fractional Ecommerce CFO / FP&A Lead (DTC, Shopify, Subscriptions)
We’re a fast-growing ecommerce brand looking for a Fractional Ecommerce CFO / FP&A Lead to bring financial clarity, identify waste, and support better scaling decisions. This is not bookkeeping or tax work. This role is focused on unit economics, cash flow, forecasting, and profitability. What You’ll Do: - Build weekly/monthly P&Ls (accrual-aware) - Track cash flow, burn, and runway Analyze: - Subscription vs one-time revenue - CAC, LTV, contribution margins - SKU and offer profitability - Identify cost leaks (ads, ops, SaaS, fulfillment) Build decision models: - Cash flow forecasts - Paid media scaling models - Inventory planning models - Translate numbers into clear recommendations (cut / scale / pause) Required Experience - Ecommerce / DTC (Shopify) - Subscription businesses (We use loop subscriptions) - FP&A and financial modeling - Strong Excel / Google Sheets - Understanding of paid media economics (Meta / Google) - Experience working with imperfect data Preferred - Fractional CFO or Finance Director experience - $1M+/month ecommerce brands - Triple Whale, Stripe, PayPal, 3PL familiarity Engagement - Fractional / part-time ~10–20 hrs/week - Retainer-based - Long-term potential We want to give you the freedom here to bring your best work forward and grow with us.
