Role Description As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will collaborate closely with the Onboarding and Payroll teams to ensure a remarkable contractor experience throughout their employment. You will also work with the National Recruiting Center to explore future employment opportunities for contractors as their temporary assignments conclude. • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors throughout their assignment. • Collaborate with Payroll Services Specialists to ensure accurate payroll processes. • Facilitate the contractor's career advancement through performance feedback and skill assessment. • Coordinate with the National Recruiting Center to identify potential post-assignment opportunities. • Conduct first-week service calls and provide timesheet/expense entry training for contractors. • Make quarterly service calls to ensure high-touch customer service. • Partner with the Payroll Team for timecard collection to maintain timely and accurate payroll. • Collaborate with managers to consistently share performance feedback with consultants. • Work with Internal HR on issues related to benefits, employee relationships, and 401k. • Identify and resolve contractor-related issues and maintain worker authorization documentation. • Assist contractors with performance improvement and explore future options after assignment completion. • Participate in internal account reviews and quarterly scorecard meetings. Qualifications • Customer service skills • Proficiency in data entry • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Basic Excel skills • Proficiency in Outlook email • Strong time management skills • Attention to detail Requirements This is a fully remote position, ideally suited for someone within a commutable distance to Troy, Michigan. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.
