As a YouTube Content Moderator, you'll play a critical role in shaping our online community and ensuring a positive experience for our players. About the Role We're seeking an experienced YouTube Content Moderator to join our remote team. As a Content Moderator, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing community strategies, managing social media content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive community growth and engagement. Key Responsibilities Develop a player-first community strategy : Own and drive the game's short and long-term community strategy, translating strategy into actionable plans and setting clear goals for team members. Manage social media content : Plan and execute social media content across regions, collaborating with teams to develop efficient workflows and achieve a consistently great experience. Oversee global operations : Work with community investment and creator teams to develop and manage high-level global community creator programs, achieving short-term game project goals while pursuing long-term community objectives. Foster social media platforms : Stay at the forefront of a rapidly changing community landscape, bringing new forms of community experiences to teams and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop programs that drive action towards achieving key community growth goals. Establish effective feedback mechanisms : Work with platform moderators to maintain a great community climate. Listen to community needs, anticipate risks, and make swift decisions to build two-way conversations and maintain a high-quality feedback loop between players and game developers. Develop a community playbook : Create and expand a community knowledge base of what works and what doesn't, with the goal of continually improving the team and its operational capabilities. Build and manage a team : Lead a collaborative team across multiple regions; support team members in developing strong interpersonal skills and identify and address team weaknesses promptly, promoting those with exceptional abilities. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Broad knowledge of various regional community cultures, with a deep understanding of North American culture. Familiarity with the mechanics, algorithms, and user attributes of major social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, Reddit, and Discord. Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience, able to rapidly coordinate multi-party resources and collaborate effectively. Deep understanding of game mechanics and the needs of the development team. Sharp industry insight , able to provide the team with the latest industry information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with content management systems (CMS), webpage creation, SEO, and event operations. Artistic appreciation , image editing skills, and technical programming abilities. Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage. Proven track record of achieving operational excellence by introducing performance metrics, processes, and systems.
