You'll be responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database. Your attention to detail and technical skills will enable you to review data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information, and resolve any issues that arise. You'll also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database. * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database. * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications. * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times. * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily. * Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required. * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations. * Performing other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * **Education and/or Experience**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 6 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, is also required.
