We are now seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Learning Specialist to join our team, leading and supporting up to 30 Customer Support Associates in their development and performance. Key Responsibilities and Expectations The Senior Learning Specialist will play a crucial role in creating an optimal adult learning environment, both in-person and virtually, that encourages long-term success and engagement among Customer Support Associates. The key responsibilities of this role include: Supervising structured learning metrics and overseeing results for the assigned territory and region, ensuring that all training programs are effective and aligned with arenaflex's mission and expectations. Managing live performance metrics end-to-end for the assigned territory, utilizing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance. Conducting learning sessions on new processes and delivering various training courses, including continuous learning, new hire batches, and transfer batches, to ensure that all associates are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Maintaining data and analysis through reports on Excel, as per business requirements, to track progress and inform future training initiatives. Ensuring the completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement programs on time, to guarantee a seamless onboarding process and continuous development of associates. Partnering with operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, collaborating to drive initiatives and programs that continuously improve the training experience. Identifying and certifying learning coaches, and leading individual improvement projects to enhance business performance, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and innovation in training and development. Driving quality and learning metrics, conducting chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders, and ensuring that all training initiatives are aligned with arenaflex's mission and values. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in training delivery roles, with a proven track record of creating engaging and effective learning experiences. 1 year of experience in Customer Service or customer service-related work experience, demonstrating an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this field. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools. Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate with associates and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across a variety of time zones, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Knowledge of adult learning, content design, and facilitation, with experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position, showcasing your expertise in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. Project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage your time effectively, ensuring that all initiatives are completed to a high standard and on time. A strong ability to multi-task, think critically, and solve problems creatively, demonstrating your capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience in designing and delivering training programs for customer service teams, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences. Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, with the ability to apply these principles in practice. Experience with learning management systems and other educational technologies, with the ability to leverage these tools to enhance the learning experience. A certification in training and development, such as CPTD or CLO, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive team culture.
