Key Responsibilities As a Virtual School-Based Occupational Therapist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a remote setting. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, including teletherapy sessions and consultations with educators and parents. Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted intervention plans. Managing cases and maintaining accurate records of student progress, including writing reports and communicating with relevant stakeholders. Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for students. Staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and contributing to the ongoing development of our services. Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Hold a Master's level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Possess an active state-issued license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon. Be an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Have a strong background in providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting. Be comfortable working as an independent contractor (1099) and willing to obtain liability insurance. Successfully pass a basic tech screening to ensure you're equipped to deliver high-quality teletherapy services. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not mandatory, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience with teletherapy or online therapy platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, educators, and parents. Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to support therapy services, including electronic health records and virtual consultation software.
