About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Virtual Customer Service Agent to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be part of our Sales and Service Center, where you will handle customer inquiries, provide support, and assist with sales-related activities. Your primary focus will be on assisting Medicare-eligible retirees in selecting appropriate Medicare health plans, but you may also interact with customers who do not have an enrollment with arenaflex Retiree Health Solutions. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls and receive inbound calls to confirm, schedule, or reschedule participant appointments with a Benefit Advisor. Answer inbound phone calls regarding the status of an application or general customer inquiries. Respond to instant live chat requests from customers and assist them with website navigation and self-service options. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, including conversations, actions taken, and follow-up activities. Stay up-to-date with Medicare health plans, prescription drug plans, vision, and dental enrollments to provide informed support to customers. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A high school degree or equivalent. At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment (preferred). Basic knowledge of Medicare health plans, prescription drug plans, vision, and dental enrollments (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, computer telephony, internet, and other computer tools. Essential Skills and Competencies Possess the ability to talk and efficiently type simultaneously. Ability to multitask across multi-functional work. On-camera visibility during meetings, trainings, or as requested by leadership. Takes initiative and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. Proven success in maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced business environment. Aptitude for understanding details of insurance or complex information. Actively listens to participants to understand both verbal and non-verbal cues. Researches options in proprietary arenaflex tools. Demonstrates sustained confidence and resilience during challenging interactions. Fully and accurately documents all conversations and actions taken on each interaction.
