As a Technology Supply Chain Management Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of related technology suppliers, leading strategic sourcing events, and negotiating contracts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure suppliers meet business objectives while maximizing their value and mitigating risk. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor, managing a portfolio of technology suppliers and categories, and supporting complex and high-value contracts. Advise technology stakeholders on common risk elements of supplier agreements and programs. Assist leaders in decision-making by promoting competitive evaluation of new suppliers through the RFP process. Create and implement negotiation strategies to drive successful outcomes. Manage supplier communications, coordinate contract negotiations, and lead strategic sourcing events. Collaborate with internal customers to understand business requirements and educate stakeholders on SCM processes. Manage ongoing demand planning with technology stakeholders for assigned agreements and renewals. Support multiple technical categories across various programs and business areas. Identify potential procurement opportunities through data analysis, category knowledge, and stakeholder discussions. Communicate performance and concerns with suppliers, and redefine relationships as needed. Perform other job duties as directed by leaders. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Procurement. Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with a focus on technology suppliers. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and categories. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and category management tools. Preferred qualifications include: A master's degree in a relevant field. Certifications in procurement or supply chain management, such as CPIM or CSCP. Experience working in the aviation or technology industries. Knowledge of industry trends and emerging business models.
