Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in various educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools. Essential Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits. Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor. NJ Substitute Credential (or equivalent, depending on the state). Background check and TB risk assessment (Scoot Education will cover the cost). Full COVID-19 vaccination. A passion for education, empathy, and a growth mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience. Special education or subject-specific expertise (e.g., Math, Science, English, or Special Ed). Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with varying abilities and needs. Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to new situations, curricula, and teaching environments. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Trauma-informed teaching practices and a commitment to student-centered education. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
