Job Overview and Responsibilities As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized assisted stretch sessions to clients, encouraging and motivating them throughout their journey. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients of all ages and backgrounds, utilizing the scientifically proven PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) technique. Building and retaining StretchLab membership through exceptional customer service, ensuring that every client feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their goals. Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking clients' weekly recurring appointments. Ensuring the safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules. Attending monthly staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest research, techniques, and industry developments. Handling member concerns when applicable, and assisting Sales Associates and General Manager with first visits, offsite events, and sales as needed. Cleaning and maintaining all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, qualifications, and personal qualities, including: A passion for boutique fitness environments, stretching, mobility, and flexibility, with a strong desire to help others achieve their wellness goals. Prior certification, degree, or license from a nationally recognized organization or university in a relevant field, such as kinesiology, exercise science, sports medicine, corrective exercises, massage therapy, personal training, athletic training, strength and conditioning, physical therapy assistance, or Pilates instruction. A minimum of 1-year experience working in a fitness or health environment, where you have provided hands-on training with clients. Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people. A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills will be highly valued: Previous experience in assisted stretching or a related modality. Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Experience working with clients of diverse ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to promote our services and build strong relationships with clients.
