Job Overview The primary purpose of this role is to provide exceptional service to online chat-generated requests from prospective students, current students, and handle general chat questions regarding admissions, student services, student finance, academics, or registrar services. The successful candidate will be responsible for routing chats that require additional expertise to the appropriate resource promptly and efficiently, ensuring seamless and personalized support to students. As a Strategic Enrollment-Online Chat Advisor at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for many students, and your expertise, empathy, and passion for education will play a vital role in shaping their experience and perception of the institution. Key Responsibilities Handle online chat conversations with prospective students, answering front-line admissions questions, and providing pertinent and responsive feedback while representing the unique brand and business needs of arenaflex. Respond to general chat inquiries, regardless of modality, online or onsite, to provide specific answers or route to the correct department personnel throughout the institution. Route detailed chat inquiries to appropriate department personnel, with special consideration for Student Finance questions, to ensure best-in-class student service and support. Engage in chat conversations with continuing students, answering general student questions regarding registration, academics, classes, and University catalog material, providing timely and relevant feedback. Disposition inquiries in SFDC, generating and documenting qualified inquiries, and reassigning to appropriate recipients to help students further understand the programmatic offerings at arenaflex. Demonstrate a deep understanding of front-line admissions policies, institution catalog, and student services, using this knowledge to provide accurate and helpful information to students. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with the requirements of the position. These include: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, although not required, with a focus on education, communications, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in admissions, student services, or a related field, with familiarity with institution catalogs and student information systems. Subject matter expertise in front-line admissions policies, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to handle several online chats simultaneously, and strong typing skills. Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically via non-verbal sources, such as chat and email, with a strong focus on customer service and student support.
