Job Overview Under the supervision of the Center Owner, the Shipping and Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for assisting customers with all store services and products, operating the point-of-sale system, and performing various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our center. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, handle customer complaints and problems in a professional manner, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with shipping and packaging services, printing estimates/orders, and other services offered by arenaflex Provide exceptional customer service in person, through email, and by phone, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Process customer sales through the point-of-sale system, handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently Up-sell, cross-sell, and actively participate in marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth Open and close the center, cash register, and other center systems, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time Assist management in maintaining, ordering, and stocking inventory, ensuring that all products and materials are readily available to meet customer demand Maintain the center consistent with established standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues Interact with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS couriers, other vendors, and all store staff, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication Sort and deposit mail in private mailboxes, capturing, completing tasks, and organizing Virtual Mail in a timely and efficient manner Finish and complete print and sign orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and delivered to customers on time Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors Ability to translate customer requirements into final products or services, with a strong understanding of our services and products Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process customer sales and handle cash and credit transactions Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and colleagues High school diploma or equivalent required, with a valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, Windows operating system, and other computer hardware and software Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Some supervisory skills, with experience in leading or mentoring colleagues Notary Public certification, with the ability to provide notary services to customers Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
