Job Overview As a Service Desk Specialist/Live Chat Agent at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing Tier I support and customer assistance for our mobile application. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, reproducing, reporting, and resolving issues in both iOS and Android operating systems. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional Tier I support and customer assistance for our mobile application via live chat, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues. Troubleshoot, reproduce, report, and resolve technical issues in both iOS and Android operating systems, using diagnostic tools and knowledge of diverse mobile device makes and models. Install software on supported devices, following defined procedures, processes, and methods, to ensure seamless functionality. Employ Incident Management procedures to enter tickets into the required tracking system, ensuring accurate and efficient issue resolution. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues, providing expert knowledge and support to ensure prompt resolution. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mobile technology, application updates, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our support services. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The minimum qualifications for this position include: One year of professional experience in an occupational field related to mobile application support, or an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or other related technical degrees. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android, and experience with diagnostic tools and mobile device hardware. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded: Experience with Jira, ITIL Certification, Agile and scrum methodology, and government work experience. Familiarity with Apple and Google Play Store, and experience with mobile application development and deployment.
