Job Overview The Senior Data Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that drive business value. Collaborate with the data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into digital processes. Work with data in Cloud, Hadoop, and experience designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines. Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other major languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Build data warehouses and data models to support Data Science and other internal clients, integrating data from various sources and ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards. Analyze current data technology environments to identify and assess key capabilities and recommend solutions. Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to determine the optimal solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 5+ years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering. 5+ years of experience with SQL. 5+ years of experience with Python. Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure). Strong Communication, Analytical Reasoning, and Problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark. Experience with Reporting (Tableau). Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus.
