Job Overview As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will bring your industry experience to develop and maintain a production data pipeline that supports the training and production of machine learning models. This position is focused on the US Federal Sales Division and will play a critical role in the growth and development of our machine-enhancing sales force. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our core IT team to support the development and production data pipeline, review and implement data engineering best practices consistent with industry standards, and support the implementation of recent technology packages that support US Federal Market Data Science. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a production data pipeline that supports the training and production of machine learning models Support the implementation of recent technology packages that support US Federal Market Data Science, including requirements gathering and solution analysis Work closely with our core IT team to support the development and production data pipeline Review and implement data engineering best practices consistent with industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and development Essential Qualifications US Citizenship is required Must live in the United States Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience At least five years of professional experience related to data engineering in an enterprise environment At least three years of experience supporting end-to-end development of scalable data pipelines, including monitoring and support for production At least 3 years of experience in data warehousing, relational databases, JSON, Apache Hive, Spark or Hadoop, or related technologies Strong skills in Python and SQL Preferred Qualifications Experience in a US Federal Agency Experience with the Cloudera Platform and Docker Containers Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
