About the Role The Safety Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Safety department by handling reports, gathering data, creating reports, following up on corrective actions, investigating incidents, and participating in special projects as assigned. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) data collection systems and other processes that promote efficient and effective operations, compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, and adherence to industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Review, process, and analyze reports received through the safety reporting system Analyze technical data from hazards, incidents, and events, and identify, interpret, and communicate trends or patterns in complex data sets Track, analyze, and interpret data outputs from the organization's safety programs Assist in the administration of corporate databases for improved aircraft safety Support the Safety team in any necessary investigations Provide technical expertise to management regarding data models, database design development, and data mining Prepare and present safety-related information to managers and line staff in support of the Safety Management System (SMS) Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the organization's Safety Management System (SMS) Support the continuous improvement of the hazard identification and risk assessment processes Participate in organizational investigations Act as a safety evaluator for the Internal Audit Program, Safety Audits, and high-risk areas of operations Prepare investigation reports concerning flight safety trends Enhance Safety Promotion by acting as the representative of the SMS Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Intermediate to moderate level MS Excel skills Prior experience in data analysis and reporting Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent computer skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, and other software applications Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to obtain a MSP SIDA badge Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Experience in aviation safety management and data analysis Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) principles and practices Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards Experience with data mining and database design development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
