Job Overview As a Retail Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. You will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service experiences, utilizing consultative skills to understand each customer's individualized needs Provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines, and recommend appropriate arenaflex products and services Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping, including wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education 6+ months of specialized experience in a customer-facing role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods Ability to move and lift 55 pounds Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment Knowledge of printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines Experience with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transactions Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative to improve knowledge and skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Customer focus : ability to deliver exceptional customer service experiences and build strong relationships with customers Communication skills : excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members Problem-solving skills : ability to analyze problems and provide solutions, using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs and suggest alternatives Time management skills : ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, in a fast-paced environment Teamwork skills : ability to work collaboratively with other team members, to achieve common goals and objectives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
