Key Responsibilities Provides exceptional phone support to hospitals and patients, handling calls in a timely and efficient manner, and ensuring that all inquiries are resolved to the highest standard. Assists patients effectively by clarifying their questions, providing accurate information, and ensuring that they receive the support they need in a compassionate and empathetic manner. Works through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to resolving complex issues. Maintains accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate, and complying with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Routes incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company, ensuring that all callers are connected seamlessly and efficiently, and that their inquiries are resolved promptly. Utilizes Epic Software to manage patient records and billing inquiries, and demonstrates a high level of proficiency in using this software to deliver exceptional customer service. Essential Qualifications Must have experience working in a call center environment, preferably in a healthcare setting, and demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of excellent customer service. Must have a background in Medical Claims and/or Insurance, and demonstrate a strong knowledge of medical terminology, billing procedures, and healthcare regulations. Must be able to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, and have a dedicated workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer. Must have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed, and be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable, ensuring a stable and secure connection. Must be able to undergo a criminal background check, provide proof of ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts, and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well), demonstrating a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Epic Software experience is highly preferred, and candidates with experience using this software will be given priority consideration.
