About the Role In this critical role, you will utilize your exceptional customer service skills, patience, and understanding to address inbound phone calls from our clients' members or customers. Your primary objective will be to provide accurate, timely, and compassionate support, ensuring that every interaction is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Perform PCP Change/Provider Lookup to ensure seamless transitions and accurate information. Look up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage to provide members with comprehensive support. Review Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, and other related services, to address member inquiries and concerns. Process claims inquiries, including investigating and resolving issues related to billing, payments, and transactions. Answer enrollment/disenrollment inquiries, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process. Address Grievances/Complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, working to resolve issues promptly and efficiently. Perform billing tasks, including making payments, transaction history, premium inquiries, and other related activities. Manage LEP inquires and disputes, ensuring that all interactions are handled with sensitivity and care. Assist with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs, to ensure that members have access to the resources they need. Provide self-help options, including member portal support, to empower members to take control of their healthcare journey. Offer local location support, including pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist referrals, to connect members with essential services. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: At least a High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning. Minimum of 18 months Call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and support. A Healthcare background is highly desirable, although not essential, as it will enable you to hit the ground running and provide informed support to our members. Minimum of 2 years Computer Experience in a work environment, with proficiency in using various software applications and technology systems. Ability to multi-task, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease and efficiency. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to display empathy and care, providing compassionate support to members and demonstrating a genuine commitment to their well-being. Dedicated area to work from in your home, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free environment. Internet speed requirement of 50 Mb/s for download speeds and 10 Mb/s for upload speeds, with a wired connection (Wireless access/WIFI is not permitted). Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly advantageous in this role: Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. Familiarity with healthcare systems, policies, and procedures, enabling you to provide informed support and guidance to our members.
