Key Responsibilities Enter information into databases and software programs with high accuracy, utilizing keyboarding skills, optical scanners, and data upload tools. Read and interpret source documents, such as reports, bills, and sales records, to extract relevant data for entry. Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of demographic, financial, and customer data to ensure data integrity. Compare data with source documents, detect and correct errors, and report discrepancies to supervisors as needed. Maintain operational records and logs of activities and work completed, ensuring transparency and accountability. Adhere to organizational processes and protocols to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Establish entry priorities, follow organizational processes, and confer with team leadership to ensure efficient data entry operations. Verify customer and account data, reviewing, correcting, deleting, recovering, or reentering data as necessary. Purge files to eliminate duplication of data, ensuring data consistency and reducing errors. Secure information by completing database backups, protecting sensitive data and preventing losses. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential and handling data with care. Look for ways to improve data collection processes, including the design of forms and templates, to enhance data entry efficiency and accuracy. Operate office equipment as needed to assist in data entry operations, ensuring seamless workflow and productivity. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support colleagues. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Previous data entry or clerical experience, or experience working in an office setting, demonstrating your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
