Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Associate to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms, digitalizing them, and ensuring high accuracy while meeting expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute. Key Responsibilities Capture and validate complex data with high accuracy Perform image classification and indexing tasks Pre-adjudicate documents and correct data as required Verify data from automated data extraction tools Utilize various systems to work on assigned tasks Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to complete tasks Work within established procedures and practices Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to type at least 45+ words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy and 10-key by touch proficiency Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy Maintain or exceed 4,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) for numeric and 2,500 KSPH alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing (preferred) Experience working through VPN connection High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience in data entry or a related field Knowledge of healthcare claims processing and medical terminology Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent typing skills and ability to meet productivity standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
