About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join our Concentrix Catalyst team, the engine that powers our experience design and engineering capabilities. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving success by leveraging your expertise in SAP HANA and Snowflake to build and optimize data solutions. This is a remote work-at-home opportunity in the US, with a requirement to work and cover Pacific Time zone hours. We can sponsor H1B candidates, but unfortunately, we cannot consider C2C resources at this time. Key Responsibilities HANA Development (50% of Role): Build and optimize data solutions using SAP HANA, focusing on high-performance solutions for large data volumes. Utilize the latest HANA v2.0 features for data warehousing and perform in-depth performance analysis of HANA models. Use Explain/Viz Plan for performance troubleshooting and work with SAP HANA Studio, WebIDE, SDI, SDQ, and BODS. Implement advanced features like XS Advanced, HANA Rules Framework, and integrate with UI5 and SAP Analytics Cloud. Snowflake Data Engineering (50% of Role): Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Matillion and optimize data pipeline reliability and performance. Use DBT for complex data transformations in Snowflake and design scalable data pipelines for various data types. Implement optimized data warehousing solutions, apply performance tuning techniques in Snowflake, and monitor and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes. Collaboration & Best Practices: Collaborate with data architects and analysts to implement data governance policies and apply version control in DBT and Matillion. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and ensure best practices are followed. Essential Skills & Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5-8 years of experience in SAP HANA development and Snowflake engineering, with a strong background in relevant technologies. Proficiency in DBT, Matillion, and Snowflake optimization, with the ability to apply these skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with SAP HANA and Snowflake environments, with a deep understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT workflows. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a proven ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles, with experience implementing data governance policies and procedures. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS or Azure. Compensation, Perks, & Benefits The base salary range for this position is $91,457 to $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
