About the Role We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Remote Customer Service Representatives. As a CSR, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing calls regarding customers' insurance policies. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their policies. While waiting for your license to be processed, you will focus on handling billing calls, and once licensed, you will be handling a wide range of policy-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Receive and respond to customer inquiries regarding their insurance policies, including questions about coverage, billing, and policy modifications Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their policies and resolving any issues that may arise Process calls in a timely and efficient manner, meeting productivity and quality standards Utilize system tools to search for answers and information, navigating complex databases and software applications Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, knowledge, and personal qualities, including: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred 6 months - 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field Professional customer service aptitude, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and resolving customer issues Basic conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage emotions and show resiliency in stressful situations Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and respond to customer inquiries Demonstrated ability to multitask, navigate system tools, and utilize computer systems and data systems Ability to work in a remote environment, with a dedicated, distraction-free, and quiet workspace Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of insurance policies and procedures State licensing requirements, with the ability to obtain and maintain a license to sell insurance products Advanced conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage complex customer issues and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Skills and Competencies In addition to the essential and preferred qualifications, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Customer Service Aptitude: the ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on resolving customer issues and exceeding customer expectations Reliability: the ability to work independently, with a high level of self-motivation and self-accountability Empathy: the ability to understand and appreciate the customer's perspective, with a strong focus on providing personalized service Critical Thinking: the ability to analyze complex customer issues, identify solutions, and implement them in a timely and efficient manner Effective Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a strong focus on active listening and responding to customer inquiries Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to investing in our agents and helping them achieve a career in insurance.
