Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting our customers in their health insurance journeys. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, managing customer accounts, providing technical support, and interpreting and following defined procedures and policies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver the highest level of customer service experience consistently, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Manage customer accounts, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed Handle inbound and outbound calls, online chat inquiries, and application data entry Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Manage time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple projects and updates while maintaining a high level of productivity Commit to extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams Essential Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace Personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period Complete a background check and health screening Cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection is required (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible) Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology High level of professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a self-motivated and success-driven approach Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer support or technical support role Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act Previous experience in a call center environment Familiarity with CRM systems and practices Spanish bilingual skills, a plus What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base pay of $14.50 per hour and an enhanced rate of $16.00 per hour contingent on weekly attendance and performance. Spanish bilingual team members are eligible for a base pay of $15.50 per hour and an enhanced rate of $17.00 per hour. In addition to our competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits, including paid training, 401K match, individual coverage HRA (ICHRA), and paid time off (PTO).
