About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for Maryland residents seeking health insurance coverage. Your expertise and empathy will guide individuals through the process of understanding their health insurance options, addressing their concerns, and finding the perfect coverage for themselves and their families. With a strong foundation in call center experience and knowledge of health insurance coverage, you will thrive in this fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Answer inbound phone calls to provide information and assistance regarding health care insurance options, ensuring each customer receives personalized support and guidance. Update customer and account information as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication. Utilize multiple database applications as resources to provide comprehensive solutions to customers, staying up-to-date with the latest health insurance policies and terminology. Respond to general customer inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with college attendance or a degree preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. A minimum of 1 year of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. A minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, with a solid understanding of health insurance policies and terminology. Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with customers, coworkers, and other stakeholders. The ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and multi-task, utilizing multiple computer applications while maintaining a high level of customer focus. Flexibility, reliability, and availability for occasional overtime, as needed, to ensure seamless customer support. The ability to pass required skill and knowledge assessment tests, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. A commitment to 3 weeks of class training and 4 weeks of supervised call taking (nesting), without missing any time from work, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our systems, policies, and procedures.
