Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in the US. As a Project Manager at KinderSystems, you will play a pivotal role in managing the implementation of our SaaS solutions for state and local government clients. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, fostering long-term customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, execution, management, and closing of projects with assigned customers, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, utilizing tools like MS Project. Manage customer communications related to service requests, change orders, and project milestones, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensure that all project work falls within the contracted scope, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or requests for changes, and facilitating the approval and invoicing process as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing direct support, status updates, and resolving issues promptly, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), both internally and customer-facing, to inform project decisions and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Support department to address customer issues, collect feedback, and maintain measurable customer satisfaction metrics. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: 2-4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the implementation of SaaS software solutions for public sector organizations. A proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, foster positive relationships, and facilitate open dialogue. Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail, and proficiency in using project management tools like MS Project and spreadsheets. Formal project management training, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, is preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with state and local government agencies, or similar public sector organizations. Familiarity with SaaS software implementation and customer success principles. Knowledge of subsidy management software and child care services is a plus. Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools.
