Key Responsibilities Identify Market Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the smart home space, with a focus on Home Awareness (Security and Safety) product offerings. Build Business Cases: Develop compelling business cases that outline the market potential, customer needs, and revenue opportunities for new and existing Google Home products. Define Strategy and Direction: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the strategy and direction for Google Home products, ensuring alignment with Google's overall goals and objectives. Launch Products Globally: Work closely with marketing, sales, business development, product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to launch Google Home products globally, across multiple channels (B2C, B2B, etc.). Manage In-Market Products: Oversee the performance of in-market products, working closely with cross-functional partners to meet or exceed category business objectives and develop product transition strategies for products nearing the end of their lifecycle. Lead Cross-Functional Business Activities: Lead regular cross-functional business activities meetings to ensure alignment on business targets and key outcomes, tracking progress against profit and loss objectives. Make Strategic Decisions: Make informed strategic decisions from a total product profit and loss perspective, driving business growth and revenue. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Four-Year College Education: A bachelor's degree or comparable functional experience. Program/Project Management Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in program/project management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations/planning. Preferred qualifications include: Smart Home Experience: Experience in the smart home, consumer electronics/hardware, service offerings, and related Go-to-Market strategies for security and safety products. New Business Development: Experience building new businesses and processes, driving innovation and growth. Partner Management: Experience working with internal and external partners, managing relationships and driving collaboration. Global Product Launches: Experience launching products globally, across multiple channels (B2C, B2B, etc.). Product Advocacy: Ability to act as a champion for your product category, working collaboratively to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
