About Our Product Management Team Our Product Management team is at the heart of Meesho's success, driving innovation and customer-centricity in a fast-paced start-up environment. With a strong bias for action and a focus on impact, not features, we're looking for a Product Manager I to join our team and help us drive growth and success. The Role: Product Manager I As a Product Manager I, you'll play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap and driving the development of new products that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, UX design, category management, marketing, operations, and finance, to bring products to life and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Analysis and Research : Conduct customer interviews, user research, competition analysis, and other qualitative/quantitative techniques to inform product decisions. Problem Identification and Prioritization : Adopt a structured approach to identify problems that need to be solved, break them down into smaller chunks, and prioritize what needs to be addressed now vs. later. Solution Discovery : Facilitate a process to come up with the best technology-led ideas to solve prioritized problems, harnessing the creativity of multiple teams, including design, engineering, and business. Product Delivery : Define detailed product requirements and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring products to life, ensuring high product quality through processes like user acceptance testing and dogfooding. Go-to-Market Planning : Create go-to-market plans with business and marketing stakeholders to maximize product adoption and success. Adoption and Metrics : Define product metrics, track them continuously, and identify usage patterns to inform action plans that drive growth. Roadmap Creation : Develop product roadmaps with a 3-month forward-looking view of key customer/business problems to be solved. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of overall experience with at least 1+ year in product management in a tech-led company, preferably in the consumer internet space. Exceptional problem-solving skills based on first principles of thinking. Good understanding of technology and comfort with product management processes, including A/B experimentation, writing product requirement documents, managing product backlogs, and creating roadmaps. Good communication and stakeholder management skills to drive product development across different functions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in e-commerce, preferably in a company that caters to Tier 2/3/4 towns. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions. Experience with product management tools, such as JIRA, Asana, or similar.
