As a Flexologist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that has received comprehensive training in assisted stretching, ensuring that every client receives a world-class, one-on-one stretching session. Our Flexologists come from diverse backgrounds, including kinesiology, exercise science, massage therapy, personal training, and physical therapy assistance. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients across various age groups and fitness levels. Motivate and encourage clients throughout their stretching journey, fostering a supportive and welcoming environment. Build and maintain a loyal client base through outstanding customer service and personalized care. Manage client care by maintaining accurate records, scheduling weekly appointments, and ensuring a best-in-class stretching experience. Ensure client safety by adhering to StretchLab's policies, safety rules, and proper stretch techniques. Participate in monthly staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay updated on the latest techniques and industry developments. Address member concerns and collaborate with Sales Associates and the General Manager on special events and sales initiatives as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is available and ready for client use. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you'll need: A prior certification, degree, or license from a nationally recognized organization or university in a relevant field such as kinesiology, exercise science, massage therapy, personal training, athletic training, strength and conditioning coaching, or physical therapy assistance. A minimum of 1-year experience in a fitness or health environment where you've provided hands-on training to clients. Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to create a positive, inclusive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds. A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, along with a commitment to helping clients achieve their goals. A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies. The ability to pass our comprehensive Flexologist Training Program, which includes 40 hours of online tutorials, a two-day workshop, and 20 hours of practical training. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience in a boutique fitness environment or a related industry. Knowledge of PNF stretching techniques or willingness to learn. Previous experience working with clients of varying ages and fitness levels.
