Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, you will play a critical role in providing exemplary service to multiple clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, while contributing to the profitability of blithequark through personal productivity and efficient use of material resources. Key Responsibilities Maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients Responsible for the prescription intake of all programs specific to non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage all prescriptions to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy Provide pharmacist support related to prescription processing as needed Assist with inbound call volume as received Work closely with Pharmacists and other Pharmacy Technicians to ensure seamless operations Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions as required Distribute prescriptions to appropriate Reimbursement Specialists and stakeholders Maintain and promote a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management Comply with all appropriate program policies and procedures Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors, exercising judgment within defined standard operating procedures to determine appropriate action Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications Previous 3+ years of professional work experience as a Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technician license (National license preferred) Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (if not currently licensed, ability to obtain licensed) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of pharmacy regulations for prescription processing Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong computer application skills Strong interpersonal skills, team player Strong organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail Adaptable and flexible to new situations Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
