About the Role We are seeking an experienced and certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support by recognizing member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating stock, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the organization's products and services. Operate equipment such as sales registers or related hardware, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, following appropriate procedures for various registration and payment types. Offer pharmacy products and services to members according to company policies and procedures by assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases, loading and receiving pharmacy supplies and merchandise, entering prescription data or recording prescriptions, and completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and other required documentation. Receive and stock inventory in the pharmacy area and maintain the pharmacy area by following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation. Complete work tasks and needs by using resources, collaborating with managers, colleagues, members, and other stakeholders; identifying needs, deadlines, and expectations; completing tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address progress and potential opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, challenges, and feedback. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in pharmacy operations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and certification as a pharmacy technician is required. Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting is also highly desirable.
