About the Role We are seeking an experienced Metrology Ops and Customer Quality Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, working closely with our customers to understand their needs, and developing innovative solutions to meet those needs. Your expertise in metrology operations and customer quality will be instrumental in driving our company's success and growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the highest level of product quality and reliability Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs Conduct metrology operations to ensure the accuracy and precision of our products Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in our quality control processes Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and improve overall product quality Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of our business Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in metrology and quality control, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our processes and products Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, physics, or materials science At least 4 years of experience in a quality control or metrology role, preferably in the semiconductor or display industry Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices, including statistical process control and lean manufacturing Experience with metrology operations, including the use of specialized equipment and software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, physics, or materials science Experience with quality control systems, such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or C++ Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical skills: Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices, metrology operations, and data analysis and visualization tools Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement Collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and positive attitude Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
