Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Success Manager to join our growing team in the North East region, ideally based in New York or Boston. The successful candidate will be highly versed in the data domain, with a proven track record of navigating complex organizational dynamics and delivering exceptional value from our platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify challenges and opportunities early, lead cross-functional efforts, and drive results-oriented solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage customer relationships, risk, and revenue to ensure long-term success and growth. Build trust and foster meaningful relationships with key executives and champions within each account. Act as the voice of the customer within blithequark, advocating for customer issues and needs. Conduct Executive Business Reviews with stakeholders to align on goals, outcomes, and value realization. Collaborate with Sales and Services teams to drive renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Identify and mitigate risk through cross-functional plans, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Stay current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify product improvements. Embody and promote blithequark's values of Care, Do, Try, and Shine in all interactions and initiatives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, managing a portfolio of large enterprise accounts. A background in big data, privacy, data governance, or information security, either as a customer or vendor. Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate best practices and solutions. Proven track record of driving adoption, identifying and remediating risk, and driving renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models. Familiarity with on-premise and/or cloud data landscapes. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and executive presentation skills. Excellent organization and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in big data environments. A BS/BA degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Advanced degree or certifications in a related field. Experience with data security, compliance, and AI-driven solutions. Knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Experience working in a global, remote-first community.
