About the Job and Group The arenaflex HR Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, HR Business Partner to join our team in Los Angeles or New York City. As a strategic partner to the business, the Manager, HRBP will sit at the intersection of HR and the business, committed to our Programming and Product groups within the Trade, Development, and Character association. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate on all HR projects and initiatives in support of the client group through collaboration across key business and HR partners. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, with a focus on building effective and collaborative working relationships with internal partners and clients. Proactively assess business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach. Mentor leaders on HR policies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee inclusion and engagement, and performance management to foster a culture of continuous growth and innovation. Think creatively; pursue innovative approaches to our work by demonstrating flexibility, agility, transparency, willingness, and global thinking. Respond to leaders and employees with a sense of urgency and timely resolution. Analyze HR data and trends with the ability to present in a clear and compelling manner that informs business decisions and drives action. Advise on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure an effective recruitment and hiring process. Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development. Collaborate with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) functional teams and employee resource groups to implement and measure the impact of key inclusion initiatives. Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy. Collaborate with Learning functional partners to create and deliver development experiences that help close gaps between current and future capabilities. Lead organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed and efficiency and support rapidly evolving business demands. Collaborate with other HR Business Partners, fostering a positive working relationship, and working together on projects and initiatives across various groups within arenaflex. Essential Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a tech association working with software or product groups. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have experience working with senior leaders in an "influence without authority" role, with a proven ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally adept at thinking strategically and operating tactically. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, handling issues that don't always have a process or framework in place, and potentially with conflicting needs or perspectives. Solid business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly. Exhibited ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to drive business results. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision.
