Job Overview As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our safety data science group. You will lead a team of full-stack data scientists, perform active execution, and create a top-notch safety data warehouse and tools to provide customized solutions and meet a wide range of evolving needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in showcasing the impact of safety and unlocking growth in protecting good users from bad experiences. Key Responsibilities Understand data user requirements to design data pipelines and tooling, collaborating with partners including safety data scientists, implementation, product, and engineering teams, trust and security strategy, and legal Own and improve metric reporting, metric validation, and new metric development for arenaflex's transparency reporting and regulatory reporting Review and revamp existing data warehouse with a focus on improving data quality, data integrity, and pipeline visibility Increase the safety data science team's efficiency through automation, ETL strategies, and agile processes Collaborate with extensive data science teams in building shared data systems and tooling Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Python proficiency and strong SQL skills 4+ years of experience working with large-scale ETL systems (implementation, process, and support) 4+ years of non-internship professional experience building clean, efficient, object-oriented code (Python preferred) in a production environment Experience as a database administrator or architect with large-scale data warehouse systems like Google BigQuery Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Experience with Airflow or similar data/ETL tools in a production environment Experience in public/administrative metric reporting Career Growth and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
