About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Head of Customer Success to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing some of our most critical commercial relationships with our largest animal health pharmaceutical manufacturer partners. You will lead a high-performing team that supports these partners with essential sales and marketing functions, driving value and growth in these relationships. Your expertise in building and maintaining strong partnerships, combined with your ability to inspire and motivate your team, will be instrumental in achieving our goals. Key Responsibilities Manage a team of 8-10 people focused on supporting blithequark's largest manufacturer partners, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success. Collaborate with the team and partners to develop and implement strategies that drive value and growth in these relationships, measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of these initiatives. Travel (up to 25%) to clients for in-person business reviews and strategy sessions, building strong trust and relationships with key decision-makers. Gather feedback from partners to inform our commercial strategy and development priorities, ensuring that we are meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations. Assist in outlining and reviewing team-created materials that will be sent to clients, such as proposals, results decks, and quarterly business reviews, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and meet our standards. Continually iterate on team processes to optimize performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes that drive efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct regular account reviews to set achievable goals and assess performance across accounts, providing insights and recommendations to drive growth and improvement. Essential Qualifications 10+ years of account management, relationship-based sales, or similar experience, with a proven track record of success in managing complex enterprise relationships. Previous people management responsibilities for a team of 3+, with experience in fostering the potential of and supporting the professional development of team members. Proven experience managing high-stakes relationships, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with key decision-makers. An eagerness to be involved in the details of ongoing projects, despite a high-level role and title, with a strong attention to detail and project management skills. Interest in data and more quantitative problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw insights that inform our strategy. Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities, with a positive attitude and team-based mentality. Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the animal health industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our partners and clients. A strong network of contacts and relationships within the industry, with the ability to leverage these connections to drive growth and opportunity. Experience with CRM systems and other sales and marketing tools, with the ability to analyze data and draw insights that inform our strategy. A proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expansion, with a strong understanding of the sales and marketing processes. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $160,000 - $280,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
