Job Overview As a Functional Analyst at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, analyzing system and data needs, and developing specifications for UI and data interface requirements. You will collaborate with vendors, provide input on technical plans, and assist in the implementation of SAP Ariba and Oracle PeopleSoft applications. Key Responsibilities Analyze and communicate complex cross-functional business requirements and process flows. Perform gap analysis between as-is and to-be processes, identifying areas for continuous process improvement. Develop technical specifications by collaborating with technical and non-technical teams, translating functional plans into technical plans, validating high-level plans, and inspecting low-level plans. Plan, develop, and execute testing protocols, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, as driven by requirements. Conduct systems and data analysis to determine functional design requirements and decide how the system should function and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect results. Assist colleagues in developing and fostering the skills necessary to understand application concepts and tool suite. Manage, define, drive, and execute the implementation of configurations across applications and interfaces on a case-by-case basis. Help colleagues develop and foster the skills necessary to evoke and translate requirements into functional design. Identify and resolve issues, often anticipating problems before they occur or before they escalate; develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Create and ensure adherence to the establishment of standards, best practices, services, and examples. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of SAP Ariba experience. Minimum of 3 years of functional analysis or similar experience and commitment to applying relevant skills and work to meet expectations. Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and provide solutions effectively. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Solid work ethic, exhibited attention to detail, and excellent time management skills. Demonstrated history of successful execution, delivery of projects, and working cross-functionally with business and IS teams. Previous experience in an Agile environment. Able to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience on SAP or other ERP implementation projects. 2-5 years of blithequark business knowledge. Proficient in the use of Google products: email, spreadsheet, document, presentation. Working knowledge of ServiceNow (Carts+) Portfolio and Program Management module. Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Ariba software/systems preferred.
