As a User Support Specialist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to providing top-notch support to our creators and subscribers, ensuring they can focus on what matters most – creating exceptional content. **Responsibilities** As a User Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing friendly, expert support to blithequark creators and their subscribers via email and live chat, ensuring timely and effective resolutions to their queries and concerns. * Live chat coverage: You'll be responsible for providing live chat support for up to 50% of your time (or 4 hours per shift), engaging with users in real-time to address their questions and issues. * Email support: The remaining time will be spent providing support via email, responding to user queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Collaboration: You'll work closely with the Support team and other colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to drive positive outcomes. * Escalation: You'll demonstrate urgency and discernment when escalating user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams, ensuring that critical concerns are addressed promptly. * Product knowledge: You'll be a frequent user of the blithequark app, staying informed about product and company updates to provide informed support and insights. **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A passion for helping people and finding solutions to their problems. * Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing, to effectively engage with users and provide clear, concise support. * Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced startup environment, where priorities and requirements may change rapidly. * 2+ years of experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams, including experience with live channels. * Ability to provide solutions for a wide variety of technical support challenges, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to drive positive outcomes. * Alignment with blithequark's mission to build a new economic engine for culture and experience as a blithequark subscriber (experience as a creator is a plus!). * Zendesk and Stripe experience is a plus. * Direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) is a plus. **What We Offer** As a User Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll enjoy: * A market-competitive salary, with a cash compensation salary range of $70,000 - $85,000. * Equity for all full-time roles, providing a stake in the company's growth and success. * Exceptional benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. * A flexible Tuesday-Saturday schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training, mentorship, and career advancement. * A dynamic and supportive work environment, where your contributions are valued and recognized. **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're passionate about enabling independent expression and building a better business model for creators.
