Your primary responsibilities will include: * Using empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing and often unexpected medical bills * Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans and taking payments by phone * Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day * Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus * Continuously improving, with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training **What You'll Do** * Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and resolving account balances * Collaborate with patients to develop and implement affordable payment plans, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of accounts * Utilize computer proficiency and software systems to accurately document all calls and follow-ups, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication * Work closely with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork * Participate in ongoing training and development programs, enhancing your skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and support **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
