About the Role We're on the hunt for a seasoned Java Developer to become an integral part of our Client Structures team at Blithequark. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will help drive business growth, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to the development of innovative products and services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance Java applications that meet the evolving needs of our customers and business stakeholders. Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and engineers to identify requirements, prioritize projects, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. Lead the development of large-scale, distributed systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. Work closely with architects to design and implement robust, secure, and efficient software systems. Develop and maintain expertise in Java and related technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading. Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that all systems and processes are well-documented. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and resolve defects in a timely manner. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale Java applications. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, REST, and related technologies. Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Experience with security and compliance frameworks, such as OAuth and GDPR. Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data warehousing.
