Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for advancing the arenaflex product through notifications, A/B testing, and experimentation to drive business growth and improve user experiences. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy innovative product features that delight our customers. Your expertise in full-stack development, Java, JavaScript, and front-end web development will be essential in enabling product experiences and collaborating with backend engineers to build scalable and efficient systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy product features that drive business growth and improve user experiences through notifications and A/B testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and data science to identify opportunities and develop solutions Work closely with Android, iOS, Site, and TV UI engineers to enable product experiences and ensure seamless integration Develop product experiences using email as a material, leveraging existing in-house email structures and frameworks Partner with engineers on various backend systems, including core registration services, infrastructure, personalization, and content management teams Own the development and maintenance of product experiences, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to inform product decisions and drive business growth Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in creating customer-facing applications using A/B testing and experimentation Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages Related experience in JavaScript or TypeScript Front-end web development experience, including CSS, Sass/LESS, and modern JavaScript frameworks Experience writing SQL queries on large data platforms, such as SparkSQL, Voila, Hive, and others Ability to design and develop natural and extensible APIs Experience creating reusable, templated systems and components Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Experience building backend systems to power frontend experiences Experience working with product development teams and collaborating on product roadmaps Experience building streams using various channels, such as Push, SMS, messaging apps, and in-product messaging experiences Experience with restriction systems and ICU formatting Experience in creating responsive and interactive HTML or AMP email development experiences Experience building large-scale, highly scalable gRPC services Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
