You'll be responsible for driving the development of our data analytics and science capabilities, ensuring that our data-driven approach is aligned with business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, driving innovation, and empowering our teams to make data-informed decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * **Lead and Coach a Team of Specialists**: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. * **Drive Modern Programming Practices**: Stay up-to-date with the latest programming practices, ensuring that our codebase is maintainable, scalable, and secure. * **Design and Implement Data Systems**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data systems, ensuring that they are modular, secure, and easily observable. * **Develop Top-Tier Designing**: Ensure that our services and components are clear, modular, secure, diagnosable, and reusable. * **Improve Test Coverage**: Develop and implement test plans, ensuring that our services are thoroughly tested and validated. * **Drive Business Value**: Focus on business needs through a data-driven approach, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and transformation. * **Investigate and Improve Automation**: Investigate opportunities for automation, ensuring that our processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable. * **Set the Vision for Data Examination**: Define and drive the strategic direction of our data examination and reporting capabilities, ensuring that they align with business objectives. * **Develop Complex Data Models**: Design, develop, and implement complex data models and reporting structures, ensuring that they are scalable, maintainable, and secure. * **Drive Data Science and Analytics**: Develop and implement data science and analytics capabilities, ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives and drive business value. * **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and IT experts to develop comprehensive data solutions. * **Cultivate a Collaborative Culture**: Foster a culture of collaboration, information sharing, and expertise development, leading technical authority meetings and lunch-and-learn sessions. **Essential Qualifications** * **15+ Years of Experience in Data Examination and Reporting**: Proven track record of success in data examination and reporting, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making. * **5+ Years of Experience in Leadership or Senior Roles**: Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams, with a strong understanding of technical leadership and management. * **5+ Years of Experience with Cloud Advancements**: Proven experience working with cloud technologies, including ADLS, Azure Databricks, and other large data innovations. * **Advanced Skills in Data Examination Tools and Languages**: Strong proficiency in data examination tools, languages, ML, and systems, including Conos, PowerBI, SQL, Python, and R. * **Experience with Data Representation Tools**: Strong experience working with data representation tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. * **Strong Understanding of Cloud Stages**: Proven experience working with cloud stages, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to design and implement adaptable and efficient data examination solutions. * **In-Depth Knowledge of Lakehouse Design Standards**: Strong understanding of lakehouse design standards, combining the best of data lakes and data warehouses for powerful and adaptable data management. * **High-Level SQL Abilities**: Strong proficiency in SQL, with a deep understanding of social databases and business data capacity to write complex SQL queries against multiple data sources. * **Experience Managing High-Volume Data Streams**: Proven experience managing high-volume and high-speed data streams, and designing systems that can handle the demands of real-time or near-real-time analysis. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Master's or Graduate Degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, Data Science, or Related Discipline**: Strong educational background in a related field, with a focus on data science, software engineering, or informatics. * **Relevant Industry Certifications**: Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Data Scientist or Certified Analytics Professional. * **Experience in Retail, Manufacturing, E-commerce, or Supply Chain**: Proven experience working in retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or supply chain, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities. **Compensation and Benefits** * **Competitive Salary**: $160,000 -
