Experienced Field Sales Representative, Strategic Accounts – Driving Growth through Partnerships with Local Hero and Premium Merchants in a Remote Work Setting

As a key member of our Outside Sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our partnerships with local hero and premium merchants across the region. About the Team and the Company Our Outside Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants in any given geography. Our Outside Sales team is the revenue driving arm of DoorDash and ensures the growth of our SMB partnerships which help strengthen operations, accelerate consumer growth, and improve our bottom line. Key Responsibilities Establish partnerships with local hero and premium merchants across the region to drive the growth of our business Prospect, meet with, and close partnerships with these merchants, leveraging your sales expertise and industry knowledge to negotiate mutually beneficial economic terms Lead complex negotiations to structure industry-leading deals and bring on the best local and regional restaurants onto the DoorDash platform Share on-the-ground insights with sales leadership and operations team to inform business decisions and drive growth Mentor teammates on how to be the best version of themselves after establishing yourself in the role Travel into different markets and meet with restaurant owners (hybrid role with up to 50% travel) to build relationships and drive business growth Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years of experience in a closing sales role or related experience, with a proven track record of exceeding goals and driving business growth Experience selling multi-product solutions and negotiating complex deals Strong industry knowledge and a passion for the restaurant industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with restaurant owners and other stakeholders Experience using a CRM (Salesforce) and Google Apps, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales and business growth Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances A creative and strategic approach to sales, with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions A strong network of contacts in the restaurant industry, with the ability to leverage these relationships to drive business growth Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and drive business growth Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with restaurant owners and other stakeholders Strong industry knowledge and a passion for the restaurant industry Experience using a CRM (Salesforce) and Google Apps, with the ability to leverage technology to drive sales and business growth Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At workwarp, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
