Job Overview We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the role of Early Morning Stocking and Customer Service Representative at our store location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering friendly customer service, helping customers shop our store, and ensuring all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience. You will also be involved in completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards, and participating in Omni channel processes. Key Responsibilities Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop our store, locating products and providing solutions as needed, ensuring a personalized and memorable shopping experience Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards and engaging customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, promoting customer loyalty and retention Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, ensuring all merchandise is properly received and displayed, and maintaining a well-merchandised and in-stock store Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery, to ensure a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and responsibility Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales team as needed, and developing a comprehensive understanding of our products and services Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, ensuring the store is always fully stocked and merchandised to the highest standards, and driving sales growth and customer satisfaction Essential Qualifications Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of the retail industry and its trends Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment, with a focus on safety and ergonomics Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive store culture Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive store culture, and promoting a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register, with accuracy and attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial transactions and inventory management Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, and a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction Knowledge of Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), and a strong understanding of the intersection of online and offline retail Experience with merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment, and a focus on finding creative solutions to complex problems Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and early mornings, with a commitment to supporting the store team and delivering excellent customer service, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Skills and Competencies Customer Service: ability to deliver excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner, and a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Communication: strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive store culture Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive store culture, and promoting a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose Problem-Solving: strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment, and a focus on finding creative solutions to complex problems Adaptability: ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and early mornings, with a commitment to supporting the store team and delivering excellent customer service, and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our Team Members, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth through training, mentorship, and career advancement.
