Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated E-Laker Online Facilitator to join our team at the Alternative Learning Center (ALC). As an E-Laker Online Facilitator, you will be responsible for facilitating online courses, monitoring student activity and attendance, providing feedback and support, and communicating with students, families, and mentors. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic online learning environment and make a positive impact on students' lives. Key Responsibilities Monitor course activity and attendance, and respond promptly to student inquiries and concerns Grade activities and provide feedback within 1-3 days, using a variety of assessment tools and strategies Provide one-on-one student meetings through proactive outreach, and offer ongoing progress updates to students, families, and mentors Intervene when students miss milestones, and provide targeted support to help them get back on track Respond to communications by the next school day, and maintain regular communication with students, families, and mentors Reach out to students at least once a week, and offer ongoing support and guidance Essential Qualifications Current Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 License Willingness and ability to obtain Cross-Curricular Delivery Permission Request (CCDP) variance license Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in online learning platforms and technologies Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in online education or a similar field Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies Experience working with students in an alternative learning environment Strong knowledge of curriculum design and instructional strategies Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in online learning platforms and technologies Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Detroit Lakes Public Schools, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our educators.
