About the Internship As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern at blithequark, you'll be part of a dynamic team that drives a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. This 12-week internship, scheduled from May 21 to August 9, 2024, will provide you with hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and compliance. You'll work closely with our Quality Control team to identify trends, develop insights, and present recommendations that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities Perform data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements to support quality control initiatives. Assist in creating and delivering results from complex data and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Respond to ad-hoc queries related to emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical support to senior leadership. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding. Develop and distribute specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the cadence and validating the need for data requirements. Identify process anomalies through audits and communicate findings to the team. Evaluate process effectiveness by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. Perform other work-related tasks as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this internship, you must: Be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Have excellent communication and presentation skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work independently. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you should: Have knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. Be proficient in using PowerPoint to create engaging presentations. Have previous internship experience, capstone projects, or research coursework. Have experience working in a related field.
